As the region’s premier QuickBooks consultants, The SBS team at Small Business Solutions LLC are dedicated to finding accounting solutions that work for you and your business. Bob Crook, also known as “Biz-Bob,” and his staff support QuickBooks® users offering on-site and remote setup, training, instruction, and ongoing maintenance for small to mid-sized businesses. Small Business Solutions (SBS) is based in Huntsville, Alabama. We serve all of Northern Alabama and the surrounding areas as a QuickBooks® Solution Provider (QSP).

Meet Our Team
Owner of Small Business Solutions LLC, Bob Crook, Advanced Certified ProAdvisor (PA), QuickBooks Solution Provider (QSP) provides accounting technology solutions, including QuickBooks® and its vast ecosystem of integrated applications, for a wide range of small businesses—from retail to nonprofit organizations, to service and manufacturing industries. He loves helping clients see the “Aha” moment when an account is cleaned up or the technology produces the correct number.
Bob has been performing consulting projects for QuickBooks for several decades and is especially well-versed in the software. Bob has been a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor since 1999, as well as QuickBooks® Point of Sale Certified since 2003. He is also QuickBooks® Advanced Certified. He offers setup, installations, conversions, cleanup, and consulting for QuickBooks and Point of Sale solutions.
Some of the recent projects Bob has completed for clients include setting up and converting a Point of Sale system for an electrical supply business, correcting $1.2 million incorrect inventory valuation for an online store, and improving invoicing for a new business that sanitizes restaurants due to COVID-19.
Prior to owning Small Business Solutions, LLC, Bob owned Padgett Business Services, an accounting and tax firm. He was also the Box Office & Accounting Manager for the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra in Huntsville, Alabama, and accounting software testing & software developer for Fiscal Systems in Madison, Alabama. He is very active in his community serving on the board of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra for over 10 years, a board member of The Whole Backstage Theater, and performing accounting tasks for many other local nonprofits.
Bob received a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Jacksonville State University. When he is not working, you can find him sailing, playing tuba in various community bands, travelling, or staying up to date on current events.
QSP Assistant, Jerie Harrell, joined Small Business Solutions LLC (SBS) in 2012. She is QuickBooks certified for QuickBooks Online and Desktop. Jerie retired in 2018 and rejoined SBS in 2020 part-time to assist the owner with the day-to-day business operations, providing automated solutions to clients and prospects with accounting issues. For a client-oriented individual like Jerie, being able to help clients is her favorite part of the job. Her prior role with SBS (2012-2018), was as the Director of Sales & Marketing. She was instrumental in getting SBS promoted as an Intuit Premier Reseller $100K Club member.
Prior to moving to Alabama, Jerie worked for the Department of Defense, where she was the first civilian promoted to the Secretary of the General Staff (SGS)/Assistant Chief of Staff for the Army Research Lab located in Adelphi, MD.
When she’s not busy with work, Jerie enjoys crafting, gardening, going to the beach and spending time with her (6) grandchildren. Jerie’s all-time favorite movie is the 1986 action/drama film Top Gun, which she says is “about striving to be the best of the best”—something “she [strives] for every day of [her] life.”

Sean McCaffery

Sean McCaffery has more than 15 years of experience leading channel sales and cloud solutions in the US and Internationally. Sean has held leadership positions with Avaya in Europe growing the channel business with resellers and distributors in key countries driving double-digit growth. He then joined Rackspace Technology and was instrumental in developing sales growth strategies in cloud adoption for customers and partners. Most recently, he ran channels at Dizzion responsible for dynamically growing and expanding the partner ecosystem through SaaS based VDI solutions before joining Intuit. Currently, he runs the QuickBooks Solution Provider Program supporting the strong business that solution providers and ISV partners have established as well as finding new opportunities to drive emerging mid-market growth together!
